I’ve never been one to say “I have a source” but for once I do. Out of respect for that person I will not divulge anything to say who he is and his relationship to the program. That being said, I asked him Sunday to give me any insight so I can calm my nerves and he said that Nico is a go and could have played Saturday, but with the score and the opponent, they wanted to rest him for the second half just to get him to 100%. I haven’t heard anything to say otherwise from him, and until I do I won’t believe anything else written about it. So I’d take things like this with a gigantic grain of salt and call it the media needing to create a story.

While I have no sources, let’s not forget that whether whatever the hit was that potentially gave him a concussion, Nico came back in and finished the half, delivering a good throw to Squirrel. Maybe that’s nothing, but that leads me to believe your source.
