We're getting disrespected as well. Getting jumped by BYU and Indiana. Also Penn State has no quality wins and they're all the way up at #4.

I like it fine, but the conference crap has to get sorted. We are two more steps away from true parity.

Individuals fell for the CFP criteria hook,line and sinker.



What they CFP criteria should've stated was :
1. All 4 conference champions receive a bye
2. Best G5 team earns a spot.
3. Notre Dame gets in if they don't drop the ball.
4. The other 6 spots we will put in whoever the hell we want to.

I dont understand the ND love. This playoff has made me negative. Lol

Nah. We're probably gonna still be behind mighty Penn State. I mean we only have the same number of losses as them while having a win over #10 Alabama while they don't have a single win over a ranked opponent yet they're #4 and we're #7. Why would another ranked win make a difference?

Consistency does. We've won nothing pretty in all of our big games. I think @BigSteve09 had it right a second ago. We are like a 2015 BIG10 team. To be honest several SEC teams are. The two most alike are us and UGA. We need one more feather to make a crown.

If they were 9-0 I’d be impressed.
Schedule is so weak anything else is meh..

They were given 5.5 wins preseason.

Nobody hiring a new coach is sitting there thinking, "well he's not one of the 3 coaches currently undefeated, so he's not good enough!" Lol.

He's well ahead of schedule at a program that hasn't even won 7 games in 8 seasons haha

If we have Nico, for sure #3 or #2. If Nico is determined long-term, I could see us held back a bit. But I can't imagine concussion being long-term, but I'm no doc and it's holding us back at the moment (moreso assumption if he can't play, then odds of losing in Athens skyrockets).

Strange how an Iowa team with a offense, but a good defense, can be ranked top5 with 1 or 2 losses. . .

I really am starting to hate this whole CFP thing

It'll be fun if we get in. But I have noticed it has taken some of the pleasure out some wins because the win gets compared to our guess as to what would impress the committee. We are technically in 1st place in the SEC right now and advancement toward that goal has been somewhat diminished by comparison imo.

One thing I do like is that we control our destiny right now. Compared to how it used to suck back in the day to lose our SEC opener, be truly a top team, and yet still have to hope that someone else lost -- twice, in fact.
