Lmao what? We’ve only been overhyped recently and that was in butch era. Psu is 1-23 against top 5 teams this century.

This year, we are playing like a Penn State team (won a bunch of slugfests) that’s played for 10 years. They get viewed as good and ranked in the top 10 every year. Except, we have the Bama win.

It’s ironic how a committee with a Big 10 chair is treating us this way.

It'll be fun if we get in. But I have noticed it has taken some of the pleasure out some wins because the win gets compared to our guess as to what would impress the committee. We are technically in 1st place in the SEC right now and advancement toward that goal has been somewhat diminished by comparison imo.

One thing I do like is that we control our destiny right now. Compared to how it used to suck back in the day to lose our SEC opener, be truly a top team, and yet still have to hope that someone else lost -- twice, in fact.

Auto-bid is fine. They just need to be seeded where they're ranked. If they're ranked lower than 12, then they bump the #11 & #12 teams for the final spots. If they're undefeated and conference champs, they'll probably be ranked top4 anyway. . . or close to it.

I really thought we would be 5. Foolish.

The moved Indiana up to help Ohio State and to ensure a loss doesn’t knock Indiana out.

The kept us at 7 so they can drop us to 14 if we were to lose.

The politics just piss me off.

Just realized 4 of the top 5 this week are from the Big 10. Which is funny because the only reason those teams don’t have many losses is because they don’t play each other much. And the middle of the league is terrible. No one can possibly believe 4 of the 5 best teams in the country are in the Big 10….

Ohio state, yes. Indiana and PSU should be bottom of top 12. Oregon obviously yes.
