You would not be hearing from that side if not for the threads systemically featuring attacks on CWM. Go count how many dialogs were started by Coach loving posts.

We are close enough to the season with the purge in that room to find out if our woes have been coaching or Jimmy’s and Joe’s driven.

Game stats are facts. Turnover in the room are facts. Trends forward are the only relevant facts other than beating on a dead horse provides zero value add to the board or the program.

As usual one man’s reasons are another man’s excuses. The production at CB this year will define which it WAS, since the coaching is not a variable. The combo of post hammer young guys with a year on them and targeted portal guys with the same old coach should tell the whole truth.

So yeah, both sides of the CWM debate on here have a lot of credibility on the line. Some more than others based on post count. NO EXCUSES allowed by either side. A move or not from the bottom to mid conference play with this group will be the key.

For me, it has always been the fact that CJH has kept him. He has not made a lot of bad staffing decisions. Guessing the DC has had a lot of input since that room is on his blotter. It APPEARS to me to support players not coaching has been the root cause in their collective up close and personal eyes.

I’ve never liked WM, he’s a decent recruiter but can’t develop the talent or coach in game. All of our losses under Heupel have a recurring theme: the secondary did not hold up. Uscjr, Mizzou, Purdue, florida ‘21 and ‘23, our secondary folded and did not perform well at all.

The staff has always been notorious for starting upperclassmen over talented freshmen. Last year with RG3, Nico and Seldon; and it’ll be the same this year with guys like Boo and Lewis

CWM may be a good guy but I’m frustrated he can’t find or recruit talent that can beat out will brooks
Secondary has been a concern since he got here
Every position group has upgraded and while some CWM nut huggers will say the secondary has then I ask again why is will brooks starting or playing significant time
He did walk into a talentless room but take away KM and what has he done…..
I hope RG and JM are good bc he recruited them and I wanna see CWM succeed while I eat crow bc that would mean they made significant progress and we are winning big

We were already 4th in the sec in defensive pass rating, 4th in ypa and tied for 3rd in ints in the SEC…. I don’t think we were as bad as people think that we were.

What makes you think Will Brooks is bad? How can you say every position group has upgraded when the LBs were slow and couldn't cover in space?
