Going through a situation where is was wronged financially by a “friend”. Really really fighting myself over what to do. My instinct is to take action in a physical way, because if I press charges or file a lawsuit it will be more trouble than it’s worth, not to mention the passage in Matthew 5:40 if a man takes your coat…. He probably needs the money more than I do. It’s just burning me up to not do anything. I think Jesus would want me to let it go, but that’s so tough for me to stomach

Those are always tough. I would certainly pray on it. I doubt an altercation would give you any meaningful satisfaction in the long run. Might even cause more financial damage. You could probably have an attorney draft a letter for a small charge. That would at least get his attention. We did it to a homeseller that lied on disclosures and it worked.

Martinez isn’t good and Pruitt is a good defensive mind statistically speaking. Pruitt had a lot of problems as our HC but coaching the defense wasn’t one. I still don’t know why people defend Martinez.

Pruitt’s defense here was awful. Total team defense was ranked in the 70’s two years. One year we were like 29th but still towards the bottom of the conference.

You don’t think the odds of CJH read on him being better than yours are astronomical? This year should be way better, next year the trend maker, where coach can reassess the production, especially factoring in this years HS and potential portal additions. Not the depleted post Pruitt room and additions willing to sign on while the NCAA hammer was looming.

Current trajectory as defined by HC and DC will rule the day.

I certainly hope this year is significantly better. I mean it’s year 4. How many years does a coach with as many years as WM has need to field a good unit? Funny how people keep bringing up Pruitt and what WM walked into. Yet coach Garner seemed to improve the DL significantly much quicker.

The excuses for WM are over.

Like @Weezer said earlier. That sounds like some stuff that goes on in a truck stop men's room. I would add that the truck stop is most probably located in Alabama.

Could any other coach have done more with what was here? That is what CJH has had to take into account, and he is still here. Like I said elsewhere, this years trends will determine his status. He himself has taken talent out as an excuse starting with this room following the flush last year.

That first question is irrelevant. You are just making more excuses and nothing more.

McCoy wouldn’t be here without Martinez. Gibson probably wouldn’t either. Jordan Matthews would be at LSU likely. Carter, Beasley, etc
