Oh the fix was in and it is not just Saturday or Tennessee. People who know are openly talking about it. It reminds me of a book I read about the Black Sox scandal. Everyone knew what was going on except the fans.If there was an actual fix, as opposed to a biased ref being biased, it was designed to maximize the number of teams the SEC gets in. The plan would’ve included us getting in along with UGA. Where things got messed up was the week prior when the committee jumped Indiana and ND above us for no reason. Things would have been simple if they’d put us in that 5 spot but they didn’t and now that loss puts us at risk when the conference goal would’ve been to get us all in. /conspiracy theory version of events
We would be in— most likely. There will only be one G5 team to make it, but I could see them trying to make a case for a second ACC team.If Army beats nd, does that assure Tennessee a spot if we win out?
Or would that get Army and Boise State in and us left at home?
This has gotten so confusing.
Absolutely only need one Big 12, one ACC team in. Need nd out regardless, just on principle alone.
That is a “tau” cross and a more accurate representation of the crosses used for execution. Between the giant Tau we use and all the ceremonies and rituals it’s easy to make the case that Tennessee football mirrors religion. Let’s def. hope some of that blessing rubs off.A friend of mine came across this in Assisi, Italy a couple weeks ago. It's the symbol of St. Francis and the greek letter Tau he used to sign his name.
He thought it looked perfect as a gift for a Tennessee boy. He's a Miami fan but he hopes it "blesses" the rest of our season! Let's win out! Go Vols!View attachment 699577
They may want to move Army in over us if they win out 13-0 through the Navy game.We would be in— most likely. There will only be one G5 team to make it, but I could see them trying to make a case for a second ACC team.
My concern stems from being pretty sure this committee is hard sold on having four Big10 and SEC teams.
