Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Heather Dinich I believe has Bama as the first team out. She’s usually almost right on. I would not put it past them to make sure Bama has a shot to get in. C’mon Auburn. Bury them.

At least in the near term, Alabama will always need one more loss than the rest of college football teams. Until the Saban glow wears off.

Me too, but only because there’s so much on the line.

Yep - biggest Tennessee-Vandy game in ages

I recall them knocking us out of bowl eligibility a few times in the dark era - this would feel worse. But I think we get them. Heupel should pull out all the stops.

What was the reason that we got conservative with play calling at Oklahoma?
You'd have to ask.coach. Like I said, not interested in debating the merit of the strategy for that gams because there's no way to know what staying aggressive would have yielded. Just saying it seemed to have lingering effects.

Have seen Big 10 fans post that SEC teams couldn’t handle a December game up north.

Who else remembers in 2015 when UT and Mizzou played when it was about 15-20 degrees in
Good defense, solid running game.

🙄 Right Tennessee isnt built to play in a Bg10 environment. Who are these clowns?

As it currently stands, the Big12 Championship game would be against Arizona State and Iowa State.

Both ASU and ISU are ranked below Tulane and Army who play for the AAC Championship. (Tulane's 2 losses are Kansas State and at Oklahoma)

So, feasibly, the AAC champion would get in as the 12-seed over the Big12 champion as it currently stands. Will see what happens when the rankings change because ASU will be moving up and Army will be moving down. Will be curious to see if they move ASU above Tulane.
