Believe by having a tight end on Williams side with an eligible receiver's number, it made Williams (who was also on the line) unable to legally catch a forward pass. No flag needed to be thrown till a William's touch of a forward pass. If the tight end was off the line in a slot or on the other side of center, then Williams on the line is legal to touch a forward pass. I volunteer coach kickers for a local high school, so my ref credentials are to be taken with a grain of salt. haha
This is the wayI cheered for OU.
A friend’s son goes there and we were fist bumping throughout the second half. (He was home for his Dad’s birthday party)
I begrudged the gators, as close as I can get to rooting for them. I absolutely loved that they put lane out of the playoffs.
I was rooting for uk and A&M. If only uk could have won against texas and then the Aggies could have put them out of the playoffs. Oh well, they can still beat texas. If they beat uga in the SECCG, uga would still get a playoff spot? What about if uga lost to GT and then to the Aggies. No way a 4 loss team gets in unless they win their conference championship game correct?
Would y’all be okay if GT and A&M put uga out? I might just be praying for that scenario.
Yes, Chuck ran the site when I posted there. Was Volnation around when Chuck's site was all the rage? Can't remember. Still got the Gridscape hat....somewhere. Man, that was a great board and Chuck was one of the most dedicated of fans. Put me to shame...although many, if not all, on this board would say that's not really much of an accomplishment.
Everyone knows that recruiting against Ohio State is easy. They don’t have any resources or anything like we have at Tennessee. They just have twice the enrollment and twice the alumni but I think they are all unemployed and poor so they can’t donate any money to NIL. Also, Heupel should just pay whatever it takes to keep a high school kid regardless of the cost or what impact it might have on the rest of the team culture. Sounds like a solid plan. Heupel has earned the right to run the program like he sees fit and certainly deserves our support for bringing us back from the abyss. I literally can’t fathom how anyone could get so twisted up about the whims of a high school kid. I will cheer for the ones we get and forget about the ones we don’t. Beat Vandy Saturday and go to the playoffs but some still want to complain. Try Joy.You’re damn near always wrong about every thing you post
