I’m wondering how active Tennessee will be in the transfer portal this year. I’m guessing we sign four players from the portal. A guard, a defensive tackle, a linebacker, and a safety. Thoughts?

I’m hoping we do. I like those guys, but their SEC game stats leave a lot to be desired. I get it they are freshman, but for me that makes even more important to grab one someone. Leaving doesn’t bother anymore, any kid will leave if their feelings are hurt.

There’s rumors, and they are just that, but Mekhi Hughes from Tulane may enter the portal at the end of the season.

Soph, 5’11, 210 (sounds like someone we know)
1291 yards, 5.5 avg, 15 TDs. He’s played pretty well against the bigger teams.
80 against OU
130 against KState

I hope the coaches slide in those DMs if he does decide to transfer.


You’re probably right on safety, we need that more than a WR. We at least have Squirrel and Brazzell back.

I don’t see us going RB unless we lose one, and I hope we don’t lose one. Seldon/Lewis going to get A LOT of action next year.

I’ve said this, but everyone ignores it.

He hasn’t been great against good defenses. I hope he takes a BIG next step during the off-season.

As long as he stays calm and manages the game well for us, our defense and Sampson can win us a championship.

I doubt that most ignore it, we just recognize that HH didn't become what he was until year four, and Joe was decent by year five. Willing to give Nico at least one more year before tossing him onto the trash heap of failed QBs.

I just hope we dont have the same gameplan defensively tomorrow that we did against uga. I think I could count on one hand the amount of times we blitzed vs them. We need to rattle Pavia as early and as much as possible like lsu and sc did

Linebackers have to come up and tattoo Pavia. O/U on Pavia lasting two quarters before he’s out for the game.

Side note: it’s so weird to me that Smith has progressed more than Telander. I hope to he it’s just a sophomore slump for Telander. And hate Spillman missed so much time.
