BingoI disagree. Their isn't a metric that would allow them to be ranked ahead of us if they lose tonight. We have the better wins, SOR, and SOS. Their best win would be a 7-5 Michigan team who wasn't good this year.
If you think bc of bias they would, then that's fair bc the human element part of the committee is real.
I think there’s a solid chance we break top 5 for this week’s rankings.I think Miami & Ohio State both could fall behind us, don’t think either falls outside playoffs though.
Question is if Oregon boat races Penn State how far will they fall?
Thoughts?Given today’s outcomes, I think it’s definitely more likely than not that we will host a playoff game.
Im just curious on how the ticketing will work. Will they send an email out to season ticket holders offering them the option of buying their season ticket seats for the game? If so, when will they send the email out?
Im curious as to if it will be handled like a usual home game, or if they will give the away team more tickets than usual.
Who all would yall like to see us host? Me personally id prefer a non sec team, since we host them yearly. I want a matchup we rarely see, like osu @ ut or tex @ ut or something like that
I think Miami and OSU both losing helped us tremendously in terms of hosting a game. I definitely don't see a scenario where UGA hosts us. If anything, I think we end up hosting Penn State.A&M winning this game can only help us. Especially if they win by a solid margin. Texas would drop behind UGA and Vols.
Then if UGA wins SEC championship the Vols would be the highest seeded at-large SEC team and we would host for sure.
I think there’s a solid chance we break top 5 for this week’s rankings.
1. Oregon
2. TX (assuming they win tonight)
3. PSU
4. ND
5. UGA
6. TN
Then I think OSU would be 6. A 3 touchdown favorite losing at home to a terrible Michigan team isn’t even debatable and is unworthy of Top 5.
