My response is simple: wanna be in the playoff? Don’t lose to a crummy 6-6 Oklahoma team by three touchdowns and don’t lose to Vanderbilt. Do those two things, and Alabama is in without any debate. They have no one to blame but themselves.

So I’ve been to 97 Orange Bowl, 98 Sugar and 98 Fiesta bowl . Would be pretty awesome to complete the big 4 by going to the Rose bowl this year

Yeah, I don’t care what OSU is ranked in Offense/Defense. They play in a meh conference.

Those numbers will always be inflated.

Dude...I get that, but this roster is freaking stacked. This is a brutal brutal draw....I just don't think we can get this done....we do not play well against good-really good teams on the road.

I would be confident if this was at home or even on a neutral field...it will be nigh unto miraculous if the guys can pull this off at their place.

OSU then Oregon? By far the hardest route.

I almost feel sorry for our fans that just refuse to believe that the TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS are the most hated team in college athletics and we get the short end of the stick every time.

It's the NCAA, the SEC, the media, the CFP committee, the officiating crews, the other teams fans, the other teams players, and the awards voters. It's literally us against the world.

And

Nobody, in a high position, is going to help us. We have to do like bama, tOSU, georgia, ect, and get TN reps/people on these committees, officiating crews, in the media, and on these "talking heads" shows. UT needs more representation in places that matter.

We had our church Christmas dinner after service this morning. Me and another VOL fan pulled up the rankings right before the dinner started. The guy that was carving the ham is a bama fan. We were both stunned and giggling, and really wanted to tell him the tide didn't get in, as soon as we found out, but the gumper was using an electric knife, and we didn't want him to cut his wrist....... it would've ruined the ham.

Yes, this playoff system obviously has issues and far from from perfect but I would rather have a tough draw and be in than to be Bama and watching from their couches..

My son's b day as well.................we were hoping for a Neyland birthday but will have fun then settle in for a playoff game at home. Suggested the trip to OSU but don't thing Mom and Sis want to go sit in the weather and want to be around him on his birthday.
