The more I think about the playoff bracket.................I'd be pissed if I was an Oregon fan. Having to play UT/OSU winner as the #1 seed.

Oregon got a tougher draw than either Penn State or Texas…who combined for one ranked win (#20 Illinois).

I mean they get a bye, but I see what you're saying. Penn state has the easiest route to the semis of anyone, bye or not.

Ultimately think they have the right 12 teams, but the seeding is a mess and botched. Hosting teams should be Ohio State, Tennessee, Penn State and Texas/ND (debate all you want for that one). Tennessee got hosed out of a host. Is what it is.

I think Tn beats OSU especially if Banks leaves the Ga game plan in Knoxville and brings nothing but pressure all game. Nico needs to run when given the chance and I think the big plays will be there. Heup going to bring out the 2022 offensive set.

Probably inevitable with these super-conferences. Happened back in the day sometimes. We played Florida in Dickey's last game here in the Gator Bowl.

Yes, this playoff system obviously has issues and far from from perfect but I would rather have a tough draw and be in than to be Bama and watching from their couches..

So Bama is playing Michigan in the former Outback bowl, and Ole Miss is playing Duke in some bowl. My favorite so far is the Birmingham Bowl: Vandy vs. Georgia Tech.

All the non CFP bowls are trash. Terrible matchups all over the country.

Well we're in. Everything that needs to be done is pretty much spelled out right in front of us. We have the media against us, as usual, and the perception in some areas that the SEC isn't as tough as we all know it is.....time to show them all and play VOL BALL !!!! GO BIG ORANGE !!!!

Less issue with the draw than the venue, that's horseshit. if it isnt bg10 bias, which it is, then fix it. we fired the ncaa & THIS is the best we could find???? the entire selection process, committee, figurenhead are a joke. the fact more people aren't calling for their heads is infuriating.

I’m a little conflicted on our draw. On one hand, OSU has a more talented roster than us but their home field hasn’t been known as one of the toughest places to play. On the other hand, Penn State is a much tougher place to play, but James Franklin can’t win big games.

Edit: They really need to bring back the BCS to decide the CFP rankings. Humans are naturally biased, and people can’t be trusted.

It will be around 30 degrees. Dry cold is easier/feels more comfortable to your body than humid cold. Similarly how dry hot is easier on your body than humid hot.

Breathing dry cold air is hard for me but I’ve been used to South Carolina humidity my entire life

That has to be fixed as well. That isn’t even 1 percent. Hosting is one thing but shutting out visitors like that is nuts. In the playoffs schools should get a crack at at least a 30 percent allocation.

I just don’t see a home team losing round 1. Hopefully they do away with home field advantage round 1.
