Gold is what regular Blanton's should be imo. Nice drinking proof on the Gold and can still handle ice well if needed. Biggest complaint is it's double the MSRP of regular Blanton's and even more difficult to acquire (unless you're in Japan).

I really think Bowman Bros single barrel is as good as Gold. It's 100 proof so similar proof point. Same mash bill as Blanton's. Buffalo Trace juice.

With a punter and QB maybe not in the playoffs now do you regret the SEC title?

You guys kind of had to play in like us prior to the crazy week so it was a no win, but seems like a high price.

Injuries always suck and you wish they didn’t happen. The bye week we get for winning is nice, but Texas is a really tough matchup that we had to face for the bye. Given the choice to play Texas or Indiana, we’d take Indiana every time (all things being equal). But…

… you hang banners for winning the SEC and that was an awesome accomplishment. Injuries are part of the game, and Beck could have been hurt at Tech or UMASS. Wasn’t Travis hurt in a nothing game last year? Depth matters and will matter a lot as the playoffs progress. Of any team, UGA can’t complain about depth. Exhibit A: Our backup punter was the highest rated punter recruit in his class.

At QB, Stockton is a baller. His passing ceiling is at least a little lower than Beck’s and he had a couple huge mistakes in the SECCG, but I like the way he runs and how he sees the field. Maybe our odds of winning are lower now, but maybe not. Either way, all you can do is prepare, get healthy, and go play.

Tried Blanton gold for the first time recently. Man that was good.

Not usually a fan of the ultra high proof stuff, I'm a wimp.

You should try Stagg 131 proof. Good stuff.
