Gold is what regular Blanton's should be imo. Nice drinking proof on the Gold and can still handle ice well if needed. Biggest complaint is it's double the MSRP of regular Blanton's and even more difficult to acquire (unless you're in Japan).Gold is what I like because it's not crazy high proof. Straight from the barrel is too much for me
It's less the cold as much as having to play a night road game that worries me. It's UGA again but far colder. Also, I’m over the narrative of “Tennessee has to play in the cold and that’s a clear advantage for OSU”.
They have to play in the cold too and from what I researched they’ve got a lot of transfers that haven’t played in the “cold”
Hell, they don’t normally have home games in the final weeks of December. They are at a disadvantage too.

Regular blanton's is still phenomenal and for the (usual) price of $80 is about the best for the money I've had. That vanilla and the velvet smoothness going down is just so amazing.Gold is what regular Blanton's should be imo. Nice drinking proof on the Gold and can still handle ice well if needed. Yikes. Even at $80, glad I largely stopped drinking. Better for me and I save $$$$. But I still do the occasional drink.Regular blanton's is still phenomenal and for the (usual) price of $80 is about the best for the money I've had. But gold is definitely a noticeable notch above, and like you said darn near impossible to find. I've never seen a bottle in a store ever.
