Belly Check doesn't want to recruit? And doesn't want to hire/manage a staff that recruits? Doesn't the NCAA define who can recruit on the trail, and it's basically defined as 'on-field coaches'?
It sounds like too much drama for a coach in his 70s. Remember, Belly Cheat was a mid-coach all the years he coached without Tom Brady as his quarterback.

Our road games have been losses against SEC teams.
If we had OOC road games against any Big 10, Big 12, or ACC teams we’d win any and all of them. No doubt in my mind.
We’re going into osu’s stadium and we are going to kick their arses. It will be a statement game for our players. Tennessee has the bigger chip on their shoulder. We’re disrespected by our conference and the playoff committee.

I feel strongly about the fact that this team is peaking at the right time. If we had snuck into the SECCG, we could’ve beaten either texas or uga. Just my humble opinion. I watched at least part if not all of the conference championship games and there’s not one team that is in the playoffs that Tennessee can’t beat.

We are a very very bad matchup for osu. Their OL is hanging on due to injuries. Their qb needs to be able to run. Our defense is a horrible matchup for them. Their qb will literally be running for his life. Neutral officiating crew means that we should get a better shot at a fairly officiated game. If the officials just call 1/2 of the obvious holding penalties then they won’t score a single TD.

osu struggles with run defense. That’s got to have our OL and RBs salivating. If they can’t slow down our running game then it’s going to open up the passing game and it’s all over for osu.

I am guessing that the playoff committee will justify our going into the horseshoe as a good matchup and appropriate up until the absolute annihilation of osu commences.

If we played that michigan team anywhere, it would be closer to the Mississippi State game.
I think the osu game will resemble the vandy game due to the rushing qb. With the same outcome.

I realized that you and I are the opposite side of the same VFL coin. 😎
I would feel confident like this if our DL didn’t just crap the bed against another “struggling” OL in UGA

Put a GA, Bama, or Texas jersey on him, and he’s a shoe-in for Doak Walker and Heisman winner. It’s shameful he’s getting screwed out of those recognitions.
If you're keeping score at home, here it is.

Over the past ten season, this is who has won the SEC OPY and what other awards they won [etc = swept what they could win]...

2014 - Amari Cooper (Bama), 3rd Heisman, Biletnikoff
2015 - Derrick Henry (Bama), Heisman, et cetera
2016 - Jalen Hurts (Bama), Manning Award finalist, not a Heisman finalist
2017 - Kerryon Johnson (Auburn), jack squat
2018 - Tua (Bama), Heisman, etc.
2019 - Joe Burrow (LSU), Heisman, etc.
2020 - DeVonta Smith (Bama), Heisman, etc.
2021 - Bryce Young (Bama), Heisman, etc.
2022 - Hendon Hooker (Tenn), 5th Heisman, not invited. Nothing else.
2023 - Jayden Daniels (LSU), Heisman, etc.
2024 - Dylan Sampson (Tenn), jack squat

I sense a trend...

I don't think this is the toughest team we've played in the Heup era. Heck we play at least two or three games a season against better.
I said toughest game. Reason why I said that is because:

1. 1st ever game in the CFP. Haven't sniffed the playoffs in 20 years outside of 2022 where we failed short.

2. We are on the road. Despite what ppl say we do have road woes under this staff. We have played well below are talent on the road. Many examples.

3. We lose, we go home. Simple.

4. We actually have a team good enough to win the game.

We play Bama and Georgia every year, very good teams. Difference now is (well atleast for me) I think we can beat Bama anytime we play them now. That's not a guaranteed lost anymore. It's a coin flip. We are 2-2 under Heup.

With UGA, we are not yet good enough to beat them at this point. Everyone had us losing to them coming into the year. They are just better than us right now. We haven't figured out how to score on them (17 most points scored on them under Heup). Every other team that we play regularly we scored at least 40+. UGA is not the toughest game because we probably going to lose that game unfortunately, and we all kinda know it. It is what it is for now but we are catching up. They are the new Bama to us, last dragon to slay.

So next Saturday's game is the biggest/Toughest game in our program history over since the 2007 SEC Championship game IMO. That's taking in account everything I mentioned above.
