Recruiting Football Talk VIII

The way they ended this season, I worry about them next year. Recruiting hasn’t been horrendous and they have a decent NIL game. I hope I’m wrong, though!
Some of you guys worry about so much **** that never even comes to fruition that it's amazing that you guys can function throughout the day.

That game is going to be tough and it will be our luck that it will be a prime time night game lol. We’ll be good next year, just will need players to step up to replace the production we’re losing.

Thanks for the input on my daily life. I had no idea…

I see 10-2 again with a good shot at 11-1. Road schedule is easier.

@ MSU has 2024 @ Arkansas vibes, but they sucked this year and surely won't be that much better next year.

@ UK is never worrying. We own Kroger Field.

@ Bama and @ Florida are winnable. But I could see us dropping both.

Beating UGA at home would be MASSIVE to start the season.
Kirby won’t see much of what we are doing before the matchup. They could still be figuring things out. Setting up pretty good for us

1) Especially with the regional shift (still true before, but moreso now) the SECCG should rotate. Being in GA's backyard every year is total BS. If it was in Texas this year, TEX likely wins. Rotate 5 spots. Not that hard. You have Atlanta, Nashville, ORL/MIA/JAX, Memphis, A Texan city, Upstate SC, CLT, or St Louis.

2) How does GA also get the CFP championship 2x in 8 years? They should be out of the running for 10 years, minimum. Goodness. You have all the great Cal, AZ, FL, TN, NC, New Orleans, etc sites to host comfortable games in Jan.

ATL provides easy travel, plenty of hotels and a great stadium that's temp controlled.

As fire the SEC title game... There's 3 cities that make sense.. ATL, Nas, Dallas... Maybe Houston. Nas might not work because of the outdoor venue.

Bill B going to UNC is a fat W for us

We will lose out on a few NC players, sure, but more recruiting damage will be done to Clemson, USC, and the rest of the SEC while UNC eeks out 7 wins a season and fires him with cause after year 2.

His style of coaching is not going to work out well in the transfer portal era and when you aren’t the guy who’s recruiting players, relationships won’t be good enough to overcome adversity
