Recruiting Football Talk VIII

How tho?

I’d seriously be interested in some research on this. It’s going to take a LOT to get me to believe that white kids are as athletic as black kids. Probably because I was traumatized when I was 14 in my first AAU basketball tournament. Until then I’d literally never imagined getting dunked on. Heck I was just happy to touch the net. Then we played West Lowndes. I quit playing basketball after that season.
There’s a difference between kids on Oliver Springs roster vs Maryvilles Roster…..And then from Maryville to Austin Westlake in Texas.

Not all black people are athletic .Many white people can in fact sing and dance.
Not everyone is the same even if they look the same.
The community where Austin Westlake is located is a top notch community. Nutrition and culture can go a long way. The kids are healthier there than most other places in America.
Add some top notch coaching and you have great program.

And there’s different kinds of folks within a race.
Jamaicans can be considered “black” but they have entirely different ancestry from black peoples in New York. Same goes for “white” people’s. Some may have more Scandinavian blood rather than Mediterranean.

But NOW culture and nutrition are the man factors. Because we’re all just Americans.

Was just thinking

Remember when we used Nico's legs in the redzone against Iowa? Worked. 3 TD's right?

Have we done that a single time all year this year? I mean we obviously (Dylan Sampson) don't need to, but idk, kinda makes me feel like it makes us more unstoppable down there.
I think that’s one of the biggest keys to the game to be able to go into Columbus and win, as well as possibly make a run to the NC…Nico has to be unleashed and allowed to run the ball frequently.

During his last two years in college, it seemed like a non-stop barrage from the media about how pro-ready he was and how he was going to be an incredible pro quarterback.

It just never made sense to me. They just seemed to continue to overlook his flaws in college and keep spouting the same thing.

It almost like the CFB media has to create a story like this every year to hype TV ratings or something. It's like closing your eyes and reaching into hat with a bunch of names and running with the name you blindly picked all year long.
Levis has every physical trait you’d want for a starting NFL QB. His problem is his football mind is horrendous. I saw it when they filmed the Manning camp video and he asked an all time great QB about how to obtain sponsorships. You have 3 great QBs in front of you and you worry about sponsorships???

This makes me so mad. Better not be true. I thought we were near the top.
Should make you feel great that our teams leaders atesmart. We’re in the playoffs at 1/2 the expense of texas, uga, or ohio state. 😎

They can’t manage their money and donors will burn out soon.

How madare their NIL donors that Tennessee and Oregan got in the playoffs for 1/2 proce. 😂

I said toughest game. Reason why I said that is because:

1. 1st ever game in the CFP. Haven't sniffed the playoffs in 20 years outside of 2022 where we failed short.

2. We are on the road. Despite what ppl say we do have road woes under this staff. We have played well below are talent on the road. Many examples.

3. We lose, we go home. Simple.

4. We actually have a team good enough to win the game.

We play Bama and Georgia every year, very good teams. Difference now is (well atleast for me) I think we can beat Bama anytime we play them now. That's not a guaranteed lost anymore. It's a coin flip. We are 2-2 under Heup.

With UGA, we are not yet good enough to beat them at this point. Everyone had us losing to them coming into the year. They are just better than us right now. We haven't figured out how to score on them (17 most points scored on them under Heup). Every other team that we play regularly we scored at least 40+. UGA is not the toughest game because we probably going to lose that game unfortunately, and we all kinda know it. It is what it is for now but we are catching up. They are the new Bama to us, last dragon to slay.

So next Saturday's game is the biggest/Toughest game in our program history over since the 2007 SEC Championship game IMO. That's taking in account everything I mentioned above.
It came down to @JT3 and Al Wilson to give the pregame motivational speech.

Thankfully, they chose Al Wilson 😂
