Not sure, Fulmer would not let him run the offense. Probably more of wrong era, plus you need a QB that can ride out the handoff and make good decisions and we had BJ ColemanWith how offenses have evolved today..do you think clawsons offense was ahead of its time just in the wrong era?..or totally different offense?…I’ve seen some people on here say his schemes are good with the right personnel
Speaking of QB draft spots, the top 3 QB in the league were drafted 8, 10, 32. Going to a horrific team is the quickest way to ruin a good QB. An elite QB can elevate a decent or better team, but they can't save a horrible team.
