I haven’t been really able to keep up with posts on here for a bit. I mostly skim and comment some.
I have to share with you morans the power of prayer. I’m a Dietary Director and the company I had been with for 14 years shut down last year. I was lost and burned out didn’t know what I was going to do. So, I took a step back. I worked in a couple kitchens, enjoyed the lack of stress running a food service, but I missed the working with elderly more as I got away from it. I prayed to GOD every night to guide me. I really was struggling with what I was supposed to do with my life as a 61 year old. Aren’t we supposed to know by now? A month ago, one of my old Executive Directors contacted me to offer me to lead his Dietary Department. I’ve been there for a skip and a second and absolutely love it.
In this season, my story and many more show GOD listens. Remember that in your own lives please.
No one involved, repeat: no one, is blameless in all this mess.Necessary? Well, folks have done it the entire time. I've never seen anyone else blamed but them. Not even sure who else would be to blame.
We're talking 50+ years of them screwing over the Student-Athletes to the tune of billions. There's no one else really to blame as the primary offender in this entire charade.
Sure, ofc it's a broad brush (on an individualized level). That's inevitable when talking such a broad case and large institutions.
But the commissioners, universities (and those in power at said unis) are clearly the culprits and have been all this time. Yes, you have your Dabos and Sankeys and then your Joshs, but it's the entire power structure at blame. Less blame now than before, but there is still a MASSIVE force at play to return things to the old way and/or to continue to minimalize the efforts for SAs.
So, eff em if they aren't 100% on board. These entities had their chances to right their wrongs for decades and took it freakin SCOTUS to show them how unlawful it all was. Shameful. Their scheme is over and done. Time to take their paycuts and "let the market decide".
The Peaceful Side Social in Townsend is a great place.I’ve eaten at all the Bears; Snoring, Dancing and Black (hate it closed). Had a bunch of hotdogs from the Gulf station. We tend to frequent the Abbey and Peaceful Side Social or drive back towards town to Chaplines for Mexican lately. Tough finding Townsend restaurants these days with the rate they burn down!
We just got in a barrel pick of Eagle Rare. Never been a ER fan, but the barrel pick isn’t bad. Cheers to Paisley!@drvenner
The only thing I had 9 years old was Knobb Creek 9. She deserves better. So I cracked open a bottle of 10 year Eagle Rare and poured one out for Paisley. May she be prancing around and digging up bones in doggie heaven. RIP your beloved Paisley.

I enjoy the ER. My store had a BP a few months back. I think it was a little better too. I'm waiting to hear for the delivery of their Blanton's Gold BP pick. Should be any day.We just got in a barrel pick of Eagle Rare. Never been a ER fan, but the barrel pick isn’t bad. Cheers to Paisley!
