Using power rankings would be great in some reality, but too many would never be on board. It crazily de-emphasizes actual W/L results just too much for people to stomach.

It's basically just pre-determining who will be in, on paper. While I love power rankings for betting, I do think you have to reward on actual W/L results, to SOME degree. Otherwise it won't feel like sports. Just pencil in UGA, OSU, and Bama into the bye spots every year based off raw talent, if that was the factor. Which is why it won't fly. Nobody wants that, (even if) they were the favorites on neutral fields vs projected teams...there's not much justice.


But also, EFFFFF the SEC and all of our rivals Let Bama lose their "come and get to play for a title every year" pitch, PLEASE.

W/L should only mean something if you've played anybody with a damn pulse and won.

THAT is the issue....Indiana played one team with a pulse this year and got smashed...the rest of their schedule was pure garbage. And there are other teams in this playoff just like them.

Indiana would have the kind of year vandy did in the SEC this year, in a great year. In the big 18, you go to the playoff.

Complete joke. The SEC is by far the best league top to bottom. Osu beating this team is no different than beating the greatest central Michigan team ever.

No idea why everyone wants carry water for mediocre SEC programs that controlled their own destiny and performed their way out of the playoff.

First order is to get rid of the guaranteed top-4 spots for top-4 conf champs. That's the biggest rule screwing things up. Asu and BSU should be at the bottom. We should have a home game vs IU, Asu, smu whatever.
