Wrong. The vols are currently in the hunt for a championship. With the BCS we would be in the Citrus Bowl.College football postseason by and large sucks.
Regular season >>>> CFP.
Bring me back old bowl seasons and BCS. The controversy is better than this CFP product.
Or just form a power league for goodness sakes.
Lol, I didn't realize we were arguing.I agree with all that, so why are you even arguing with me for?
Are you trying to convince yourself that our game is an easy win because of all that crap you said?
We can win, but there is going to be nothing easy about it.
I didn't...they got beat by the only team worth half a that they played.I don’t think Indiana is a good team and never ever thought they were a legitimate contender. I just think under the current system they deserved a chance to prove it on the field. I am not a fan of the eye test and bias of assuming the same teams with the best recruiting rankings should be in the playoffs. Everyone has bitched all year about favoring the same teams and now everyone is arguing that’s what we should do. I just don’t see any team that didn’t get in the playoffs that had a better Resume or legitimately deserved a chance. I see a bunch of teams that could have gotten drilled by Notre Dame on the road because they actually did get drilled in actual games by teams that are worse. Too answer the question I believe Indiana is 6-6 or 7-5 with Floridas schedule. For the record I think they could beat SMU.
That is the modus operandi of the committeeOhio State has historically thrived on weaker schedules, often facing teams like Purdue, Indiana, and Iowa. The Big Ten has generally been a two-team league. On the other hand, Tennessee has faced tougher competition, and I believe that will be an advantage tonight.
