Clearly a flawed system but the games should get better as we move towards the later rounds. Whoever ultimately wins the championship will have to be a good team. I think the biggest problem is super conferences and extremely unbalanced schedules. It’s headed towards a minor league NFL and at that point I think I will be out. Just hoping we can win tonight and make a run this year.

Move it to 16...seed it with common sense, and let the underdogs get their chance to prove they belong in the 1st round, they will either get squashed or win suprisingly and move on.

And then you get to watch all the really good teams go at it like Mortal Combat...just blood and guts everywhere.

If there's one thing that's obvious - conf champ guarantees skewed things by pushing teams down without good reason.

There's no reason OSU/UT should be facing each other when SMU, Indiana, Boise St, Az St, Clemson are out there.

It makes no sense to take #12 Az St and make them #4. Boise St from #9 to #3. Clemson from #16 to #12. That's all so irrational and too dogmatic.

If you want to guarantee 4 champ spots, what the hell ever.

But seed them BY YOUR RANKING. If the 5th worst champion isn't good enough to even be in your TOP TWELVE...maybe they just don't freakin belong.

Seed teams as you rank them. It's not that hard. The current model is so clearly bull**** to overly favor the smaller conferences and their champions.

You can keep your boring BCS nonsense and your 9-3 SEC teams that lose to 4-8 Kentucky and 6-6 Vandy.

Kentucky and Vandy wouldn't be 4-8 or 6-6 in the B1G or ACC or any of those other trash sawft conferences.

You get inclusion with the automatic bids, which is better for the health of the sport and then you still seed them based on who you think is strongest.

This FCS playoff is more entertaining than the CFP right now. Battle of the Dakotas lit rn.

SDSU at ETSU in person. One best games ive seen live in long time. Camaraderie with the SDSU fans was excellent, they were all soused, but could handle their buzz. Was fun to just engage.

The playoff is fine the way it is, just get rid of the stupid seeding rules.

Which by the way was decided by the conference commissioners and not the committee. They wanted this to fail so they could just do their own thing in 2 years which is basically have a BIG and SEC only playoff.

Let all these underdogs with bloated records get their chance to prove they belong on the field. If they do prove it against a real team, then they become Cinderella darlings and a awesome feel good story, if they don't..then big deal, they got their shot and can go sit down and shut up.

Then the 8 really good teams can go at it ferociously...that would be awesome.
