I’m still proud of this team. Coming into the season the hope was to find a way into the playoffs. We are still around #10 for talent and if not for DEI automatic 1st found byes we would have been playing at home against a SMU like team.

Not sure why either. It was a successful season. Lack of horses wasn’t the problem tonight

Lack of horses is exactly the problem when you lose by 32.

If all they can do is drag a team for making the playoffs, that’s fine.

We definitely had the worst showing, but whatever.

I’m content. Only thing that will make me mad at this point is not doing what’s necessary to take the next step.

Going to be a lot of wild takes after this being the lasting image of the season but instead of taking this bourbon to the head I'm just gonna sip on it and remember where we were just a few years ago. Is what it is. Time to regroup and look towards next year.

Cause it’s not. They don’t stay in their lanes, they over pursue and they lack discipline. But people will blame that on talent

Well if you can’t beat them in the first round with just as many fans in their stadium as them then you aren’t beating in the big game either. I agree it’s messed up but doesn’t change the fact we’re still far off from where we need to be.

Last year it was Milton’s fault. This year it’s the talent. What will the excuse be next season for our offense being under par? No WR’s? New Oline?

I never said to give Pruitt another chance. UT clearly doesn’t have the horses to compete against elite teams. We look like SMU or Indiana.

He coached Mariota a year or two. I bet he could turn Nico into Mariota 2.0

Still think this game pays dividends. We are a very young team in some key positions:
Nico and 3/4 of RB’s are freshman
Corners and star freshman and sophomores
LB’s are sophomores
Sophomore tackle
Receivers have been banged up all year which doesn’t help.
In the end we can significantly close the gap between barely top 10 team and top 5 with exoerience and some portal dudes..

This really is the deal for Josh. Get some help for yourself. You don’t have to try and cover for every underperforming staff member just because Stoops scapegoated you unfairly back in the day.
