It was more of stating the truth than an attempt at making a point. Florida sucked and we were fortunate to beat them. Vandy beating Bama basically made us beating them a prerequisite. And I'm glad we did. But that was a struggle as well. Our best win was against a middling bama team, and it was down to the last drive.

No. No SEC game is a guarantee, nor easy. Not all of our wins were trash. None of them were.

But the way in which we won our big games, and lost to UGA (our biggest game, which was for the SEC title game, which meant a bye or a home playoff game) were proof that we we're not a championship level team. OSU just put the stamp on it. Now that's a 'point' for your ass to stew on. Merry Christmas, & GoVols.

Might as well. Too bad Hurts was my starting QB in both my fantasy leagues, which I dominated the regular season. First in both, won one of the leagues by 3 games. But now, I'm out of the playoffs in both leagues after a bye. The messed up thing, Jayden Daniels was my back-up QB in one league and I would have won by a blowout. The only thing that can make it better, another Eagles Super Bowl

The CFP should have a losers' bracket that fills out a couple of bowls. We could have played Clemson or SMU and whichever we didn't play could have faced Indiana.

Yeah, something seems off with the 1st round losers. They should get a bowl game vs each other, like you say. Loser's bracket. 2 games and the winners play for 5th place in the final poll.

Kinda corny, but I'm not against more football from the nation's top12 teams. I'm just not sure the players would even want to play.
