He looked fast and strong on his one reception the other nightWhats a non key players in 24 that you expect to take a jump in ‘25?
Mike Matthews is an obvious answer but give me Braylon Staley. I really liked his potential when we signed him. IMO he’s perfect for the slot in offense. Plus he has the best wide receiver name since Cedric Tillman - if that makes sense.
Couldn’t agree more. Some newbies get all caught up in the hype of certain bottles, then in a lot of cases their pallets expand and then they figure out some of that is just that….Certainly different for all collectors. Depends on preference. I’ve seen some insane tequila collections
Looks like your third bottle left the team midseason.Couldn’t agree more. Some newbies get all caught up in the hype of certain bottles, then in a lot of cases their pallets expand and then they figure out some of that is just that….
Some folks hunt and hunt for ORW or Pappy and pay outrageous prices for average juice. I’ll never buy pappy ever again.
We’ve put it in blinds several times and it’s finished last several times.
Once people discover “Craft” distilleries, for me, those come into play a lot more. I’ll still look for “bigger” bottles but now I pay attention to certain craft releases.
For instance, these are bottles every bourbon/whiskey guy/gal should “hunt”.View attachment 709391View attachment 709390

I had the same thought right after the game. #103,448I'll see you fellers down the road.
I am not going to be able to handle the cancerous toxicity, venomous vitriol, and pure corrosive stupidity that I know is going to fill this place for a long time.
Before I go...I'm going to say this to all those good ol Vols in understandable hurt and despair, and also to the loud mouthed, totally imbecilic Idiot Margin that want to tear apart Josh Heupel and his staff, and everything that Josh Heupel and his staff have near miraculously accomplished in far faster time than anybody with a functioning brain thought possible..
On Jan 2 1998 we had just gotten completely embarrassed 42-17 by a loaded Nebraska team that had been rolling through CFB like a combine through a field of corn for years and years.
All of us have forgotten how we felt at the moment..but deep in the night I remembered...it came back to me.
We were losing our all-everything QB, we all thought our defense had been exposed as a total soft fraud, and we were losing a few important pieces off of that defense including our all-everything 1st round draft pick defensive end.
Nobody talks about this much since then...but the future did not look bright, we all thought we had blown our shot...that we were frauds..and so did the country...but..
Twelve months and two days later...on January the 4th 1998 we stood on the top of CFB as undefeated National Champions.
We know we have a long way to go...but tearing everything apart and going nuclear toxic is completely stupid.
See y'all later...UEM out
Taking on my nephew has been a challenge, and my wife's grandmother passed away Dec, 7th. Also my 21yo niece (my nephew's older sister) is struggling with early adulthood. She flunked all her college classes this semester. My wife's sister passed away in 2011, and these are her kids. She was my wife's only sibling. My mother-in-law raised them, and neither of them have any coping skills for the real world. My wife's stepfather died unexpectedly last year, and now these kids don't have a male authority figure in their lives either, so I'm somehow expected to fill that role now. This wouldn't be such a big deal, except for the fact that their black uncle was always portrayed as the family villain. Which is crazy, considering that my niece and nephew both have criminal, absentee fathers and my wife is the only woman in the family that hasn't been married and divorced multiple times. They essentially disowned my wife when she started dating me almost 30 years ago. Sorry for the rant. It's been an interesting year to say the least, and they all (mother-in-law, niece, and nephew) acted a fool yesterday at the annual Christmas breakfast that I host every year for my side of the family. They embarrassed my wife and basically ruined Christmas day.Thanks. Think of you often. Hope all is well.
I about had a heart attack reading this
It does lowkey sound like a goodbye though
@bigl3327 - sorry you had to go through that. You always seem like a level-headed and knowledgeable poster on this site. I’m sure you tried to navigate all those family challenges calmly.Taking on my nephew has been a challenge, and my wife's grandmother passed away Dec, 7th. I probably fall in your newbie category but I've had pappy 12 and 15. Neither were that impressive. I would like to have one for the display but would never pay what it brings. I've tried to collect some to finish out a line, like the weller but I'd never pay secondary market. I'm starting to look for those craft bottles like you do. Some of those craft bottles ain't cheap either though.Couldn’t agree more.
