I had a revelation last night. We bought an authentic Nico jersey for our son this year for Christmas. I see rumors about Nico and was mad. I don’t think I will buy player jerseys again. I’m sure people will still buy them, but this stuff actually hurts player’s NIL by not buying their merchandise. Loyalty can get you somewhere in life.

I’m just gonna start waiting till a players senior year to buy/wear their uniform.

8-9 wins certainly possible. I’d say it’s possible for most of the teams in the top half of the league.

OL and especially WR will be young. Would like to see another portal at OL and definitely wanna see how WR shakes out.

People can look at it from different perspectives. Vol fans have earned that right.

The ones that think people are trolls for every little bit of negativity need to go sniff paint.

If you wanna be positive, cool, there’s definitely a lot to be positive about. I’m glad they trust the staff 1000% fully.

If you wanna be negative, cool, there’s some stuff to be negative about. Some posters know what’s it’s like to suck and don’t want to go back to mediocrity. Does the bitching do anything? No, but just let them bitch, or ignore them.

I’m sick and tired of people bickering back and forth about being positive and being negative, never results in an actual constructive debate.

People saying the negas are the issue are issues themselves because they don’t do anything to put “negas” on ignore.

First, they said last night Mike requesting papers is a formality in case his nil doesn't get restructured to reflect number one receiver status.

Two, are there missteps? Oh i'm sure there are plenty but we just won ten games. By all accounts, it was a coaching miracle we won ten.

I was born in the 80's, grew up in the 90's and spent the first few years of 2000's watching Tennessee in a college dorm room. Talk about being spoiled...but there were still disappointments.

Heup had us competing, maybe not winning every game, but competing in year one with crazy Pruitt limitations, which we are still dealing with.

This roster isn't set. We still have one more portal season to go in the spring. Do I hate how it ended? Yep. It was totally disappointing but we will see if mediocrity is accepted. I personally don't conrider ten wins mediocre.

What I have now that I didn't growing up is great basketball and baseball to get me through the off season. Its a great time to be a vol! Let's be disappointed in how it ended..but that's just one chapter in a long book with a lot of history and a bright future! GBO!
