Okay I need some intel from VN…

The daughter of one of my partners just started at the new Osteopathic school in Knoxville.

She told her Dad that people are throwing trash at her vehicle when she is driving around Knoxville. She has Texas plates and has an SMU emblem on her vehicle.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?
He and I talked about it today and can’t figure it out…

My thought is we finally have coaches that can develop walkons into starters for national championship tier teams...just like UGA, Alabama, and Clemson have done.

I’m riding with you on this one, Devo. Love the optimism. Brooks didn’t have any “oh my god, that dude is so slow” moments when he played last season, so maybe he turns out to be an overlooked guy who Banks and Willie Mo have developed into a nice player.

For what it's worth, I thought it was funny too, but was trying to decide whether it was a straightup recall joke or just snark. Turns out it wasn't a joke at all, so it's even funnier.

Worth it!

My daughter was going to arkansas then got into TCU. Put a delay on my retirement plans, but totally worth it!

She really wanted to go to Wake, but was picking Alabama as a backup. Luckily she got in at Wake, with enough financial aid that we could afford the rest.

I'm not saying it didn't happen but I've lived here for ~30 years and I've never heard about or seen anyone be abused for license plates or stickers (not counting obvious game day dumbassery around campus). Hopefully she had a one off bad experience for something unrelated to college affiliation. I assume your friend's assumption is this is a "Vol fan" thing? I really don't think that is the case.
