I know there is a lot of cheating in sports, and I recognize that in the end MI might have won the title without directly cheating, but it was built on an empire of lies. Harbaugh was mediocre record-wise before Stallions. No one will convince me that the same magic that allowed Beamer to look briefly like a genius against us would not have vastly tipped the scales in Michigan's direction for years prior. They screwed us and so many other teams over from having a fair shot. They completely altered the final playoff outcome only to lose to the only team they did not spy on. Even more proof of the impacts. There is a huge difference between stealing signs and hacking databases and scheming to alter future opponents. Over time that would have helped them not just win, but also recruit etc. I know MI fans may not care, but they should get slammed.

On Tuesday, Lions head coach Dan Campbell told reporters that the plan is to start Hooker in Detroit's preseason finale against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.

"Certainly we want to get him (Hooker) a real good look," said Campbell. "We'd love to give him a lot of reps this week. I think the idea would be, you know, you'd love to start him this week. And then it's just a matter of how much does he play? Is it a couple of series and then Nate (Sudfeld) goes in and then he's back. Or is it a quarter, or is it a half? But he's going to get a really good look. He's going to get a lot of reps this week because he needs them."

I feel like Omarr Norman-Lott hasn't gotten enought hype. Hard to stand out on our d-line, but I thought he was clearly our best interior linemen last year. He was our best last year after being pretty average at AZ St. Just wondering if he will take another leap.

Haha, normally I’m with you but the vibes are high right now in recruiting and I’m enjoying the read. Also, I didn’t realize how much sports news I actually get through this thread. I see the major stories still via other apps and what not but if I’m not able to keep up here then many of the smaller stories slip through the cracks. This thread has it all. Who needs ESPN, Bleacher Report, Twitter, or whatever else when I have VN RFT
