Recruiting Football Talk VIII

The Supreme Court is not going to let them do away with NIL like that...period.

IMO...the ONLY way that will happen is if the players unionize and collectively bargain it away.
Yeah it sounds completely made up.

No way businesses can (or will) disclose how NIL deals are profitable in the short-term. Marketing ROI is very difficult to prove as-is.

Now will NFL marketing deals have to be proven profitable or else...?

Zero chance that's legal. Just more collusion against players.

I saw them in Knoxville for their Ballbreaker tour in 1996. I remember Brian swinging around on a wrecking ball and Angus running all over the stage and coming out of the crowd at TBA. I guess he was 42 then. I don't remember how long they played but Angus never stopped moving.

When you're the size of a skinny midget but don't actually have the health and mobility issues of a "litter person" that energy is easier to come by.....and hard upper drugs also help for the duration of a concert performance.

I’ve never met anyone personally in real life that prefers Hagar over Roth.

My mom but she has shite taste other than loving a band who replaced their drummer and got better.....Steely Dan. Their drummer? Chevy Chase.

Chevy once said that he was in a lousy jazz band before he got famous. I'd say that things worked out well for both parties. "Do It Again" will always be one of my favorite songs by The Dan.

Exactly...the only way this chaos gets stopped is collective bargaining.

The SC is not going to let them do this with no CFB.

But DLR made them a huge attraction (of course, Eddie's mastery of the guitar). The songs were sometimes ragged, but boy they got the teenage boy juices flowing. Sammy was a much better songwriter.

Overall music was better in every aspect. Each album got worse after the first though I do love "Unchained" which was off their 4th album(?)....can't remember for sure. Their self-titled debut in 78 or 79 is one of the best rock albums of all time, had banger after banger, blew people away with Eddie's guitar playing and reinvigorated the rock genre at a time when Disco was singlehandedly destroying good musical taste.
