Chaz going off this game sheesh

He is extremely talented. His shot is pure. For any other old timers does his outside shot remind you of Dale Ellis? Release looks similar and the shot just as pure. Ellis was so good. I hardly ever missed a home game when he played. Lord knows what he would have averaged if the 3 point line existed when he was in college. Lanier might end up averaging more than Knecht last year which would be ridiculous. Barnes is such a treasure.

You can get to Ampitheater from Taggart Lake, I’ve just not visited enough to do that. The trail for Delta breaks off from Amphitheater at some point in these switchbacks.

That is an amazing mountain range. Of the 4 summers when my Dad was stationed at Hill AFB in Utah, we went to Yellowstone for a couple weeks, went all through the Tetons, spent time in Montana and Wyoming etc. Thankful to have been to some of the most beautiful mountains and places in this country. We went to many of the places featured in Ansel Adams photos long ago. Now that I am a grown man myself, I appreciate much more all the planning, effort, time, patience etc he put into those trips. He was a good man by all accounts. My Dad fell walking across the yard on Monday morning. At 3AM Sunday the day prior we had learned of my brothers demise. When taken to the hospital, we learned the reason my Dad fell was a tumor on his spine near the bottom. He never came back from the hospital, he died 9 weeks later as the cancer was extremely aggressive and spread everywhere. I stood in for my Dad at my little brothers funeral at Fort Griffith in GA. The only thing my Dad ever cried about while cancer riddled his body was being unable to attend Elijahs funeral. He was tough, and brave. I spoke of his bravery in his eulogy, and he received military honors at his funeral as did my Pappaw and Eli. They all died in the last 5 years. Its been really hard on my family.

Similar in their shooting abilities. He’s got something in his game Lofton didn’t tho. Chaz is eventually - he keeps trying - gonna land one of these nasty dunks and it’ll change how everyone views him.

This is good cause Auburn and Florida will have more pressure to perform to expectations and we won’t have to deal with that. They’ll most likely crash and burn while we always do better when underrated.

Further proof players are much tighter than fans see things.

Players tend to be a brotherhood, even as they come and go. Mostly because they see each other as common fellows in the same grind, not as mere assets.

He was always soft against any physical bigs. I hate to talk bad about any former player but I think him leaving makes us a better team. He was easy to bully and intimidate.

I'm not old enough to remember Ellis at Tennessee but I do remember watching him when he was with the Sonics. What I can remember the most was.... he was a consistent shooter, wore #3, was in an all-star game, and won a NBA 3 point contest.

I don’t think we were pre-season top 10 last season either. 2022 we weren’t even ranked. We were preseason top 10 in 2023 and finished 9-4 and top 15. The years we weren’t preseason top 10, we finished with 10 wins and top 10. Im good with this

What do you think of Reservoir Dogs? I think that's Tarantino's best.

While I love Reservoir Dogs...and, even though Tarantino, himself, would disagree with me...I believe Pulp Fiction is his masterpiece.

However, if he had never made RD, I truly believe he never makes PF...Dogs is groundbreaking in that way.

Imo, Death Proof is one of his better movies; but, most consider it maybe his worst. I loved it, especially the soundtrack.

Wasn't Ellis listed at 6'6" ? Looked it up Ellis is 6'7"

Yeah he’s 6’7”. He was at UT when I was and was a stud. Actually played in the post and was a back to the basket player. Saw him dominate the twin towers from Kentucky down low. Just an unbelievable player. Used too see him going to class around campus all the time. One of the best to ever do it at Tennessee.
