Stan Brock was the man. He lived about 4-5 houses down the road from where I grew up.
Edit: Also he founded Remote Area Medical which brought healthcare to the needy world wide. When I was learning to be a pilot, they housed a huge DC-9 (I think) at Downtown Island Home Airport. It was a beauty.
We won 10 games. That may not be perfect but that is just a phrase. He was way more right than he was wrong. Team overall won over the Vegas line. They over achievedI don't think he's that perfect. I think he's an amazing coach and we're lucky to have him, but I don't think he won as many games as possible.
I think he did adjust his O, but not perfectly like you're saying. He could have won more games (definitely arky, possibly uga but that's a stretch) if he had adjusted better. The talent wasn't amazing, but our talent was better than the offensive results. I think he relied TOO heavily on his defense and was content to punt the ball too much.
