Literally what I was begging for last night and when we go cold, but everyone in here just wants to talk ****..... Now maybe yall will listen. Even Barnes wants them to stop doing it when they're as cold as they were last night.

It's a good wake-up call loss that takes all the pressure off of them being ranked where they were. IMO the bench is too short to win more than 13-14 SEC games even if they don't play any more games like last night. They need to spread the minutes around to the remaining scholarship guys. Let all the other teams have their brags for the rest of the regular season. Get hot when it matters.

Go back to work and figure some things out. I don't care if they win the SEC or SECT. Been there, done that and still have no FF's in The Dance to show for it. Gear everything around making the FF.

Winning on the road will be brutal this year. I think it can also be that simple. Great weak up call for sure and depth is an Achilles heel.

I’ll be upfront in that my knowledge of basketball pales to my knowledge of football. That being said, I have a problem with a coach being here as long as and having as much success as Barnes has had and yet we’re saying there’s a depth issue. Am I wrong in that mentality?

Yup. We have a rep for being physical when we are actually playing by the rules. The officials hear and see that said so often that they allow opponents to play physical against us to a greater extent than they normally would and we could handle last night. The Doug Shows crew is known for being the most inconsistent of the showtime crews in college basketball. He and his guys have pulled this stunt more than once against us. We could not hit the broad side of a barn anyway, but the margin would have been far smaller if they had called the game fairly.

Carrier quit
Phillips is banged up
Estrella out for season
Maybe there's a complaint about having an open scholarship, but you aren't really banking on losing 2 guys before January
