Herbstreit just said something that I think is actually important:
Ohio State had one game all year where they scored more than 7 points in the first quarter: Western Michigan. And they still won the majority of their games. But now they’re basically unbeatable, seemingly.
What’s more likely, they changed their scheme, got new players, or the coach changed his attitude? Whatever it is, our team needs to have that attitude. We’ve become really resilient over the years JH has been here. I think it’s because we are well coached and have talent and depth now. But we need to get back to having that sense of urgency and desire to go for the kill shot any way we want it. Don’t get soft or complacent. BE AGGRESSIVE. That’s JHs m-o. I hope we get back to that on offense this coming season. If we do, it’s another playoff appearance, and maybe more.
