It's just optics. You have a historically bad loss, you're going to drop more than you probably deserve. Not saying I agree, but that's always how it's going to work.
If Duke loses by 30 to someone, they're going to drop a lot too.
We have 10 million few dollars to spend each year than teams like Texas, Ohio State, Oregon, and a few other teams. They can buy more 4-5 star players than we can. This is pretty simple to understand. And my question still remains, are paying for lesser talent because that’s all we can close or is our budget too low to sign high profile guys. I still don’t think it’s the latter. We’ve done a good job closing on a lot top DL prospect with Rodney Garner and QBs with heupel, not so much the other positions with the occasion 5 star like Matthews and Sandrrs. I dunno
Most drag strips require a parachute for sub 10s cars, just saying. That’s wicked fast if true![]()
If I am the G M or owner, I would not even look at it twice before I threw it down the drain. You can not play those games with a Billion dollar franchise. Trade the pick and get 3-4 first round picks this year and/or next year. The Titians have too many positions which need to be upgraded to become competitive.Still taking a risk on him.
Missed 90% of 2020 and this obviously this season. Not sure how much I trust him holding up.
I’d ask for more if I was the Titans.
Sam Darnold going to darnold. I knew better, I should have bet the guy that is a winner, StaffordIf I am the G M or owner, I would not even look at it twice before I threw it down the drain. I think we were one of the first to effectively leverage it, and I do believe we are probably pretty innovative in that space.I thought it was said that we have a NIL group second to none, I guess that is not true
I think we were the most organized when NIL began. Meaning, Many schools had numerous collectives initially while TN and one , Spyree. Now, everyone is more organized with the understanding to have 1-2 primary collectives.I think we were one of the first to effectively leverage it, and I do believe we are probably pretty innovative in that space.
But there’s just no way we are leveraging the same $ as Texas, or Oregon, or Ohio St. And I’m not sure it would be fair to expect us to.

By all means offer the evidence to refute what’s been said.View attachment 714501
*I used to like Dave Hooker and enjoyed his insight when he was on WNML 99.1 but he's really disappointed me the past few years. Anymore, it just seems like he just wants to stir the pot to get VOL twitter riled up
