Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Really fatty/salty foods is a common trigger of pancreatitis in dogs. One of the reasons you really shouldn’t give them table scraps.
This @barrylee! Anything with a lot of fat can trigger the pancreas quickly in dogs. Lean meat like venison is fine or chicken (white meat). Fatty meat, like bacon, ribs, and things such as that is gonna induce pancreatitis.

Lol it wasn’t even Butchna leading the charge. It was one of the VN Prosecutors that relentlessly badgered him for 10 pages…
You're too far out over your skis again. I posted to King 5 times, on the 8th page of a 9 page thread. Four of those were replying to him.

Lol those weren’t negavols that lynched King.

Those were the sworn enemies of the negas, waging their righteous crusade against any and all criticism of the staff.
Lynching? Really? Eat a snickers or take a break. Your absurdity is showing.

Like I said, except for the super classy posts that swept in after, the conversation is still up in the Osenda thread. I hope everyone goes and reads it, having read your portrayals of it. lol

As a matter of fact, I'll make it easy for the audience:

There's the sum total of a 10 page, relentlessly badgering "lynching", folks. All on one thread page.

Moving a game that is traditionally played at that time of year would be like moving the Alabama game from TSIO.

Army-Navy fans would go nuts just as this fan base would by moving Alabama game to another day...
They moved Tennessee-Alabama for about 10 years in the 90s-00s. It was on the 2nd or 4th Saturday for awhile.

Almost lost ours to gastro flareups last year and the year before. He's since been put on a whole food diet and is thriving like never before.

Better idea is move the stupid 2 hour Heisman trophy presentation to Friday Night and play 2 playoff games on Saturday and Sammich the Army-Navy game in between...played Peach Bowl playoff game same day as other Bowl games on Dec 31st of last year...

Just a normal day on VolNation....

Individuals want this to be an everything University and now bitch because the Women Basketball team may get a cut of the money.🤦🤦🤦
You would also think Title 9 would come into play? I’m not a lawyer but would seem some lawsuits from some female athletes might pop up if the distribution of university funds was grossly inequitable. I truly don’t know how that would play out but would seem like it could be a major factor.

Are we talking revenue sharing? Seems appropriate to ask about the distribution of revenue creation when considering the fairness of revenue sharing.

Ah yes, this ^ is the type of dogged prosecutorial pursuit that allows VN to sleep easy, knowing it is waiting in the wings and ready to stand in the breach.

Fear not, friends - any purveyor of information, be they Insider or Outsider, will feel the crush of the RF Inquisition. Pray for our fearless inquisitors, as they engage in their righteous work - for their mandate be divine.

I really don’t know but when it’s university funds versus NIL seems like that’s different under the law. Men’s sports paid the way for women’s sports for years and title 9 didn’t care. You had to have the same number of scholarships. It’s why baseball had partial scholarships. Just seems logical to me that female athletes are going to not like getting nothing while football and basketball players get hundreds of thousands. I’m strictly talking about university funds not NIL. I don’t know the answer, just curious how that would play out.

If you say so. But it seems more like a nice deflection from the fact that you've completely misrepresented the exchange so far, so why not double down?

Anyway. I'll leave you to it. Admins already had to clean up you and JAX's uber-classy responses in that thread. I won't continue to contribute to them having to do it again here.

I hope you are well and have a nice day.

Man athletes are going to want this and their NIL. Buckle up

This 👆 I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer about these topics but reading the tweet each school is gifted $20.5 million to share, The University didn't earn it financially.. so why not give the women a cut of it? I just want to see every sport be the best they can be...

It'll be interesting to see it play out. Unless new legislature is passed, it seems like there'd need to be collective bargaining for revenue sharing, and it'll be seen whether title IX holds up to being a part of employers setting salaries without the input of the student athletes.

Yeah I really don’t know how it plays out. Just came to mind as I remember back when the Title 9 stuff began most people I knew didn’t think it had a chance because the women’s sports didn’t make any money. The courts disagreed. Just thinking out loud as this could turn into a big rabbit hole. I agree it will be interesting to watch it play out. Probably be messy for a while. It’s above my pay grade. 🤷‍♂️

First word is best.

I don't know why we go out of our way to run off people with some connection who are willing to give info not fed through established mouthpieces.

As always you have to take it with a grain of salt. But people willing to give you a little extra behind the scenes, giving you info in complex scenarios can be wrong even when they are doing everything right. And we dump on them because it's not what we want to hear or things didn't break the way we wanted.

Others just want to argue.
