He's nowhere near the top 10 in my analytics / grades, but there was no one in the country that had a tougher combination of strength-of-schedule, supporting cast, and context / usage / situation. Adjusting for those factors takes him from #75 in my grades to somewhere around #25-30.Having Jackson Arnold as a potential top 10 QB in the country next year makes this list beyond laughable.
Beck bested us...but inconsistent and lower ceiling.
If we were doing fantasy draft I'd take Beck because the ACC sux.
Pavia is a gamer, but specific to an offensive scheme.
Arch and Nico imo should be placed in same spot. Similar talent and equal questions. Maybe you make Arch B and Nico A due to playing time.
That is my hope. That everyone in media fuels his offseasonArch may be really good, but to put him at 3 kind of crazy . There is no way Jackson Arnold should be on this list and Nico not be. I’d post this stuff all over my locker, tape it to the lifting areas, anywhere that you spend a lot of time.
TBH, I hated losing to Ohio state, especially the way that we did, But stuff like that can galvanize teams to turn it into a positive. We did it in 98, not saying that will happen w/ this group, but we got smoked and now we know what it’s going to take. I love the naysayers in the media, on this board, etc.. We’re a very good program and I think we can sustain the success. That is my hope. That everyone in media fuels his offseason
I bet he has a top 15 or so year at Auburn, but I'm just guessing. He really was in the worst possible situation of any QB in the country with all his starting WR injured, over half his starting OL injured, and an insanely hard schedule. That doesn't make him a good QB, but using his results this year to determine how good he actually is is pointless. We won't know until next year if he's good or not. He's nowhere near the top 10 in my analytics / grades, but there was no one in the country that had a tougher combination of strength-of-schedule, supporting cast, and context / usage / situation. This. I think Arnold is far better than he's looked so far, but you can't put him over Nico when Nico had much much better results. These lists are 100% designed to rile up fanbases and get clicks. Nobody actually thinks that's the true ranking.Arch may be really good, but to put him at 3 kind of crazy . There is no way Jackson Arnold should be on this list and Nico not be. Yeah, I think he got a bad deal at OU. I don't think he's nearly as bad as he looked there.I bet he has a top 15 or so year at Auburn, but I'm just guessing. It is definitely intended for clicks, but I don’t really mind. “Lists” “Way Too Early” rankings get people talking about college football, which I happen to love, so it kind of works for meThis.
