A one, Jalin Hyatt, comes to mind. We've seen guys at WR take a major leap forward in performance in their second year in the program. I think Matthews, Staley, and Brazzell are all going to do well. Boo on offense can be a real difference maker. You also have a really good TE room where Kitselman and Davis are going to be weapons. The freshmen are definitely talented...I could see Travis Smith stepping in and being a weapon. Brame might need to get a little bigger to hold up at TE, but he's certainly athletic enough to contribute in the passing game if needed. Hopefully Jefferson will be 100% and ready to contribute. They're losing experience at WR but gaining in talent. They'll probably go back to not rotating guys as much and I think that can only help accelerate their development and improve chemistry with Nico. The only real concern I have is if several guys go down, but having multiple weapons at TE means they'll have more options if that happens. Tate would've been a great addition, but it's funny that so many acted like we'll have nothing without him.
Who gets to decide the amount of money a fan has to donate to have an opinion on a message board? What if Jim Haslam says to shut up if you are not cutting 7 figure checks? Does that put you in your place right next to me? There’s room here with the peasants m’lord.Do you write 5 figure checks or more to the University of Tennessee? If so, thank you. If not, then you have no say in how the money should be spent or how the program adapts to achieve the goals of championships they have. It delivered one last year and I believe in what Danny and the rest are doing and expect more in the future.
I hate the nbaZZ is an elite college basketball player. He has almost no chance at playing in the modern NBA. 20 years ago he might have had a chance. Could have been Muggsy Bogues. But it's just not an option with how the game is played now in the NBA. It is not the end of tune world though. He will make really good money playing overseas for a long time.
I'm behind. Im sure its been discussed but it has to have a heck of a lot more to do with the complete and utter incompetence for those franchises that are routinely in the top 5.None of the remaining 4 nfl teams drafted a qb in the top 5. How often does a top 5 QB pick make the super bowl?
I'm glad we didn't get Carnell Tate and that Squirrel left for FSU. I'm wanting to see the younger WRs we've got on the roster. I think we've got some real talent and we'll be better at the reciever position this season, barring injuries. Tate would have been nice, but he wasn't necessary.I’m with you. I’m also a big believer in Jefferson, Matthews and Staley.
He's probably the favorite to start next to Carter. He actually played pretty well after Pili went down but seemed to hit a wall later in the season that he never bounced back from. I wouldn't be surprised if Carter and Telander both take a big step forward next season. Spillman could easily start over Telandar if he can handle everything mentally because he's extremely talented. I think the freshman Harmon will make some noise too...he was a standout even in HS games where there were 4* and 5* guys all over the field. I'm honestly more concerned about them getting play at safety. That's the biggest weak spot on defense.
I think they've had a ton of good qb. They just aren't good enough at building a team to let a good qb turn into good results.Cleveland has been a dumpster fire for many years. Haven't had a adequate QB since the Brian Sipe and Bernie Kosar era's. Joe Flacco got off the couch and led the Browns to playoffs last year, that was just a fluke..
SinkingToTheBottom is a certified piece ofPretty rare that I use ignore but last night the guy who kept with the one liners that had zero intent except to **** on our basketball team when everybody who loves the program is already wearing a brutal loss…those posts were not about discussion. That was just spewing trash. I think when I hit the third post in less than two pages…done.
On a postive, I think ZZ is my favorite Vol of all time. I love watching him play. I LOVE his heart. Somebody mentioned him coaching….I am so hoping there’s a way for him to keep on with the program after this year in some capacity.
Kensuck and then Florida at home. Eyes forward and start building toward March.
Ya I was mistaken on Daniels, he's an exception though. Top 5 picks at qb just rarely turn into gold results. It shows the gm isn't very good at his job if he thinks the trash team who earned him a top pick is only a qb away from winning. Build the team to where it's a good team, then get a qb to make it great.I mean, the Commanders are still a remaining team are they not? Daniels was #2
Mahomes and Allen were both 7th weren't they?
