Recruiting Football Talk VIII

NBA and NFL definitely rigged, but I’m not going to go back and forth over something dumb 😂

We all have our own opinion. You are 10000000% correct about big markets.
But why would the NFL want the Chiefs to be a dynasty?

The NFL was like "ok we know this Texas Tech QB is about to be great, let's hand him a dynasty....in Kansas City Missouri" 😂

Last episode of the Agent at 11pm. Good show. Michael Fassbender is a good actor. Great in Prometheus and the Killer. Both good movies that he carries.
Really enjoyed it so far. Couple episodes behind. Is this the SERIES finale? Would think the star power would be difficult to retain.

Pat Mahomes avg depth per target this year is 6.8 yards. Dump off after dump off 🤮🤮

For reference, Peyton’s final year when he could hardly throw the ball to the line of scrimmage, his ADPT was also 6.8
It's not dump offs mostly. Andy Reid is a genius at getting those 5 ish yard routes wide open. They don't check down any more than anyone else.

He threw for 50 TD’s in his first full season and lost to Brady in OT in the AFC Championship. It was clear he was going to be really good at a minimum.

Beat the Texans and Titans (small market teams) the next year to get to the Super Bowl and beat SF. It all started.

Please note that NFL rosters are subject to change due to trades, injuries, and other transactions. For the most current information, it's advisable to consult official team rosters or the University of Tennessee's athletics department.

10 of those 26 players were on the 2015 and 2016 Vols teams.

Butch Jones only won 9 games with a team that had 10 players who have lasted 7+ years in the NFL. Ridiculous to think about.

Best health advice? Stay away from doctors as much as possible. If you do go see a primary here is a great way to find out if you are seeing a good one. First, ask them if they still believe that saturated fat causes heart disease. If they say yes, find another doctor. Ask them if high cholesterol causes heart disease. They say yes? Find a new doctor. Lastly, if you do have something wrong with you and that doctor recommends drugs instead of dietary change as first line therapy, find a new doctor.
I went down a wormhole on cholesterol meds and Alzheimer's disease. Apparently the brain needs cholesterol. Mine hit a high of 296 with borderline high BP. My Dr was dying to put me on meds. I got it down to 203 with diet and exercise. Also got my BP down. No meds. I'm 53 and get a physical every year. I do everything I can to avoid meds. All I take now is Zyrtec or Claritin.

I hear you should stay away from margarine. . .

I used to kind of pull for the Chiefs. Big Andy Reid fan. I actually tweetered a prediction they'd draft Mahomes because I thought he was Brett Favre-ish. Liked Mahomes and Kelce early in their careers.

Now they're NFL's protected team. Mahomes is a baby. Kelce is obnoxious on the field. If he'd play with some class (cut out the gloating, taunting, etc) it would still be easy to cheer for him. Literally remove Swift from the equation and they'd feel the same to me (I actually don't hate TS).

Just no longer feels like good football instead its just show biz. Feels like watching Brady abd the Pats.
