I never said the bolded but throwing the ball behind or at the LOS is a dump off whether it’s designed or not. I mean that’s 0.8333 air yards per completion there lolAndy Reid is a short route genius. That's his whole offensive philosophy. They're not dump offs as in "oh shoot nobody is open I'll just check down," they're designed short routes that are always wide wide open.
Now I will admit that somewhat takes away from Mahomes luster. If all you're doing is throwing 2 yard routes to wide open guys and they run for 5 more, are you really the best ever?
I am feeling slightly better, thanks.I never said the bolded but throwing the ball behind or at the LOS is a dump off whether it’s designed or not. I mean that’s 0.8333 air yards per completion there lol
Also hope you’re feeling better
I was 10 years old at home..... Alone with chickenpox. Watched it happen.January 28, 1986
Where were you? I was in my Sophomore year at BGA watching it in Economics class.
The Challenger shuttle crew, of seven astronauts—including the pilot, aerospace engineers, and scientists—died tragically in the explosion of their spacecraft during the launch of STS-51L from the Kennedy Space Center about 11:40 a.m., EST, on January 28, 1986. The explosion occurred 73 seconds into the flight as a result of a leak in one of two Solid Rocket Boosters that ignited the main liquid fuel tank. The crewmembers of the Challenger represented a cross-section of the American population in terms of race, gender, geography, background, and religion. The explosion became one of the most significant events of the 1980s, as billions around the world saw the accident on television.

Glad you’re a little better this morning. We’re all rooting for you.I am feeling slightly better, thanks.
Ill admit I'm not the authority on the definition of "dump off," but I've always interpreted a dump off as "my first and second reads weren't open, so I'll just dump it off to my check down." Sounds like we're saying the same thing with different words.
Sorry QBs don’t win games on their own. Did Peyton catch his own passes? Did he play center? Did he block for himself? Did he play RB and TE? Did he call plays? Did he play defense or special teams?Dude, that's a hill.
Watched PM highlights someone posted here a few weeks ago. That may have been a team, but it was also a player who made his team better. As evidenced by the 96-97 teams.
I just happened to be in an Astronomy class at UT.January 28, 1986
