I think they are tired. It shows up in the second half. Maybe it's rotation, maybe it's the style of play. We saw this some with 22 and 23 teams (before DK).

I'd be fine with Rick playing with offensive lineup all Feb and being the scrappy team no one wants to see in March, and hopefully by then we have unlocked a weapon or found our pace on offense

He was lucky to have DK last yr and they still had huge droughts then. Its 1985 basketball. Dude is committed to not having any shooters

Well that sucked but the conference is brutal this season. My hope is that we regain our stride in March. We saw how they can play when they’re at their best. Just gotta hope that hits again in March.

This. Coaching has to find some other way to score. We obviously don’t have the personnel to win shooting 40+ threes.

I feel like after a banner season with one SEC PoY, we should be able to ink a top 10 prep class. Every year actually. Why havent we?

Like others have said, the fact that we are ice cold at times and still in these games is a testament to their effort. It really is impressive that they are getting stops and bringing in rebounds.

The problem is, at the end of the game, they get a shot or force a shot and they look like they can't even feel their arms. The shots are atrocious.

I think by the end of the game, the effort catches up and they just get desperate/lazy on offense.

I don't know what the answer is, aside from all the players just transforming into lethal shooters. I do hope they figure it out. Champ-level defense, with a head scratcher offense.
