May God’s perfect love find you and your family.Sitting here crying like a baby, I didn’t understand why for a minute. Then it hit me, I’ve been bottling up my feelings for a couple of weeks.
I haven’t said anything on here because people have their own problems and don’t need me piling on.
Our 13yo grandson tried to commit suicide, praise the Lord he’s ok We’ve had him stay with us a couple of days and he‘s now getting professional help but it took us all by surprise.
Please pray for our family and especially Levi
Agree. My OK style onion smash burgers at home kick their ass anyway. If In-n-out is another overpriced, chain hamburger joint, then I pass.
Freddy's, 5 Guys, Culver's, Mooya, are all too expensive for what you get. Most of them are the exact same mashed down hamburger patty. The fries are about the only difference at these places.
We used to go to Steak and Shake a lot, when the boys were younger. We could take the boys and a few coupons and walk out of there for under $20. It's close to $20 at 5 Guys.....just for a cheese burger, fries, and a drink.
*I don't eat a lot of fast food but if I go through a drive thru for a hamburger, it's going to be Wendy's.
Many prayers for your grandson, you and your family. My granddaughter tried to commit suicide two years ago at the age of 14 because of bullying. Three teenage boys that worked for me at the time all hated me because I made them do their jobs. They found out who my granddaughter was and bullied her unmercifully. It crushed my soul because it happened because of me. Thankful her boyfriend at the time, told on her. After a trip to the ER, she made it through and is flourishing now. The three boys involved, well, let’s just say that grandma took care of it.Thank you all for the kind words, especially the prayers I held Levi minutes after he was born and I thought my heart was full, but that night after, when I finally got to speak with him…..my heart, I tried to hold it together but failed miserably. He has the sweetest soul, he’s funny, the biggest cut up ever and loves his grandmother completely.
I can’t say a lot but it wasn’t bulling at school.
Our neighbor found his 11yo son hanging in his bedroom closet 10 years ago. It haunts him to this day.
All I know to do is tell him I love him so much and lift him up in pray to my Lord and Savior
again thank y’all so much
If you can find it, most retail liquor stores will charge $150 - $180. Lately saw it for $154.99.It shouldnt be pricy but some stores mark it up heavy since they know people will pay for it. If it’s under $100, I think it’s a buy all day
In n out is just overrated, not overpriced but in fairness I have not had anything from there since covid, so they might be overpriced now like almost everything else…If In-n-out is another overpriced, chain hamburger joint, then I pass. I'll give them a try but I have low expectations. I kept hearing about the "goodness of Pal's" and I finally got to try it a couple of years ago. It's ok, nothing like I was expecting. In n out is just overrated, not overpriced but in fairness I have not had anything from there since covid, so they might be overpriced now like almost everything else…
Still have 'Krystals for a Quarter' ad in my head (from a long time ago). Haven't eaten there in a long time. Not a fan. Agree with you. If Krystal is not competing on price, they sure aren't going to win on food quality. The covid shutdown ruined the Steak and Shake. The one closest to our house was always really good and full of customers. They never got back on track after the shutdown. That was one of my favorite "cheap" places to eat.
I'll tell you who really needs to get their hearts right...... Krystal. The morons running that company is about to put themselves out of business. 4 cheese Krystals, fries, and a drink for $11+ is ridiculous. Who do they think they are....... 5 Guys???
Yep. When I moved out, I ate Krystals 2 or 3 times a week because they were cheap. (50 cents each in the 90s)Still have 'Krystals for a Quarter' ad jingle in my head. Haven't eaten there in a long time. Not a fan.
