Recruiting Football Talk VIII

So I have a question for the locals that live in Knox Co..I saw on the news today that 16 tornadoes touched down in Knox Co..Did any of you have one in your neighborhood or your property?? I heard there was one off of Amherst which is the road I live off of but there was no wind at my house..It was eerily quiet.😲

If In-n-out is another overpriced, chain hamburger joint, then I'm not interested. Freddy's, 5 Guys, Culver's, Mooya, are all too expensive for what you get. Most of them are the exact same mashed down hamburger patty. The fries are about the only difference at these places.

We used to go to Steak and Shake a lot, when the boys were younger. We could take the boys and a few coupons and walk out of there for under $20. It's close to $20 at 5 Guys.....just for a cheese burger, fries, and a drink.

*I don't eat a lot of fast food but if I go through a drive thru for a hamburger, it's going to be Wendy's.
Im a bachelor tonight so I thought I'd take advantage and eat good. I stopped by Kroger on the way home and got a ribeye, a little over 16oz, and a bag of frozen broccoli. It was $35 and change. I could have went to Texas roadhouse and got that steak and two sides, served to me for less.

Would it have been as good though?

Yep. Their 20 oz bone in ribeye is around $30. I get it a couple of times a year. I try to discretely clean the bone with a knife and fork but I always end up chewing on it like an old saint bernard. It really turns my wife on. 🤣

Great message about Josh Allen

Don’t really watch the NFL these days, just root for former Vol players. But Josh Allen has aways been the one non vol player I root for. Love the way he plays the game and ive seen countless of stuff like that about him outside of the game.

Why frozen broccoli?

Real broccoli is so much better.

Texas Roadhouse is definitely the best chain sit down restaurant out there.

I will not make a dirty joke about Possum and bones.
