Recruiting Football Talk VIII

ok, saying what ur saying.

weve been a top 10 team for years.

is 29th acceptable? 41st?
That’s just not how you totally rank classes these days. Barnes has adjusted to bring in more transfers because they’ve been developed and bring experience for the postseason. In both the 2020 and 2021 classes, he had top 5 classes. Springer, Johnson, Chandler, Huntley-Hatfield, Aidoo, etc. But he’s purposely choosing not to only go that route anymore.

There’s pretty good data that experience matters in March. At his age, Barnes isn’t interested in rebuilding and developing year.

I'll take your word for it. He doesn't look that tall to me but I haven't been right next to him though.

Yeah, I mean watching him stand up for pictures with kids, parents all saying "I'm 5'9"!" or "I'm 5'6"" etc. over and over. He was extremely gracious though.

But all of his teammates are 6'4" or taller, so keep that in mind in the huddles.

Yeah I decided to use AppleTV last night to watch the Gorge, and I was curious about Severance and Silo….any good?
Yeah, you could say so 😆😅 Good reason everyone in the world is talking about them around the water cooler like we did with Game of Thrones a decade ago or Succession 5 years ago.

Severance will likely grab you right away. It's not hard to get, right off the dome. Excellent concept that's probably crossed everyone's mind at some point and here they are fleshing it out, with great acting and slight of comedy to boot.

Silo takes just a bit more patience, but get to the end of season 1 and your head will flip inside out. Well worth it. And Rashida Jones makes it easy to watch and get to the good stuff.

Also realized today I've left myself some real treats by never finishing the last seasons of Atlanta (friends saying it is a masterpiece, as I'd expect from Donald Glover) and Curb.
