As someone who played and loves the sport of soccer, hockey is much more fun for a general sports fan to watch. No argument. Soccer is a game of endurance with slow-developing tactics/schemes that the vast majority of viewers don't understand or see.

That said, the best time to watch a soccer game is the final 30 minutes of any World Cup game. That's when it's action packed and exciting.

Agreed. Not amazing entertainment most of the time, nowhere near hockey. I played it and love it but I rarely have the patience these days to sit down and enjoy a full match.

Just finished the last episode of The Pacific War in Color……
One grandfather was at Pearl Harbor on 12-7-41 and other was in the Philippines.

It was “the greatest generation.”

My great grandfather was in the Phillipines. He was assigned as the personal guard of the Governor of Luzon after the Battle of Luzon. They ended up becoming great friends and sent letter years after. We still have a Damascus steel machete he gifted my great grandfather.
