The Japanese were there for years before. Leyte Philippines, Guam, Marshall Islands, Guadalcanal, Iwo, and Okinawa were all similar 'crap.' Cant recall, believe it was Guam where it just rained, and rained.Imagine if 18 year olds today we're sent into something like that. . .
I have talked sh&t for years as a Tennessee fan and lost. I like their attitude.
My Grandfather was a prisoner of war in Germany. He was shot in the helmet and survived. They fed him water and tomato peelings.Just finished the last episode of The Pacific War in Color……
One grandfather was at Pearl Harbor on 12-7-41 and other was in the Philippines.
It was “the greatest generation.”
I love their work ethic back. Middle of day? Do not call! Busy, napping. 4 PM! Do not call! Busy, pancake time. In fact, do not call unless we have a scheduled meeting planned weeks in advance, that all 7 of us making this decision have signed off on. Then we'll need another 3 meetings to ask the same questions, but in a different way. All documents will need to be sealed and signed by two people. None of which were in the meeting. Seven months will expire before the Dept of Government Environmental Interior gives go ahead, at which point all signatures are null now due to pricing changes, retirements, and one signer is on Holiday (for the 3rd time this year, @InVOLuntary).Canada wouldn't have any of us
