Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I simply don't agree with the notion that these wins are "ugly"

I think it's beautiful basketball.

It's like classic SEC football. Suffocating defense and slow, methodical, and fairly efficient offense. Fundamental ball at the highest level from every player on the court.

We shot 41% fg, 27% 3pt, outrebounded them 44-28, and outscored them 32-20 in the paint. We have a Top 10 offensive efficiency on the season.

I think we think it looks "ugly" because we make our opponents look ugly and we get so few possessions that our misses are more memorable. The Lady Vols can put up 100 and have a worse efficiency and shooting percentage and we call it beautiful.
I love these gritty guys. I like seeing different people step up, like Okpara tonight. I love winning.

I tend to agree. Never even rushed for 1000 yds in the NFL across 4 seasons. Only scored 18 total TDs. Never could stay healthy. Fantastic athlete, big, strong fast, and Nike had a field day promoting his athletic process across two sports. He was incredible in terms of his ability to impact two sports the way he did, but he was a lot more hype than impact. Frankly, an argument could be made that Deion Sanders was the better two-sport player in the same era.
Bo got limited reps his first 2 seasons playing behind some dude named [checks notes] Marcus Allen.

Over the next 2 seasons he got 300 attempts and ran for almost 1700 yds, at 5.5 ypc clip.

He then suffered a one time freak injury, and never played again. And was never the same on the diamond.

We’ll never know what type of NFL player he would have been. But he was a better ball player prior to injury than Deion ever was.

Lane will be looking for her now but seriously, how can a dad do this to his own son and its not the 1st time he cheated on his wife, she is stupid enough to keep taking him back and the son took her back.Only at Ole Miss

Translation... In 1950, Lin Huiyin and her team rescued and restored a batch of cloisonné enamel artifacts from the Ming and Qing dynasties. This craft was introduced to China from the Arab region during the Yuan Dynasty and was deeply loved by the emperor. During the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty, this craft became more mature. In addition, the base color of the products at that time was mostly sapphire blue or peacock blue, so it was named "Cloisonné".
