So what’s the path to a #1 seed now?

Just win baby! We should have the 4th 1 seed as long as we win out reg season and maybe win a game or two in the sec tourney

Win out and UF or Houston drop 1 more imo locks it up. We may get in over UF regardless with both winning out, but tough call

We travel to OM and then host lowly USCjr. Better be able to beat those 2.

UF has to travel to Bama, then hosts OM. Let's go Bammer.

Houston hosts KU, then travels to Baylor. Both are very disappointing this year. Houston should win both.

Do you think the SEC tourney matters at all? Say we win out and UF or a Houston drops one. Would we need to win a few games in the SECT to get a #1 seed?

I never said they were a .500 SEC team. I said they were in thr 2nd tier of SEC teams. I still believe that. Right now Auburn is the only one in tier one though. When I said that i thought Florida and Bama were both tier 1 teams.

The problem this team has had is consistency. They can beat anyone Alabama and turn around and lose to a subpar team.

Go VOLS!....I don't care how far they go, this team is special..and I love the fight they show. What they are doing in THIS league with their roster issues is freaking amazing.

I will NEVER understand the people that on our coach and our team...it is baffling and infuriating.

Yeah that's the scenario that's not 100%. Imagine we lose in game one...but UF drills the SECT and wins it...that would boost them ahead with multiple huge wins down the stretch.

Otoh say we win 1. UF wins 2 and out. Think we hold.

That's my guess at least. Being in the same conference will boost the importance of the SECT imo in the 1-seed race assuming it's us vs UF which appears most likely.

It's basketball...anything can happen...and probably will. I hope we win out...but if we don't it isn't the end of the world.

You don't know how I feel about it because you haven't been here that long...I was one of the dudes arguing loudly against professional college sports until it became inevitable...all this crazy is exactly why.

Like I said...your post I replied to tracks....it is exactly what I would expect you to say.

That's fair but I will stand by my statement. As a 54 year old I don't like the scenario happening but as a young guy of 17-22 years of age yes I probably would do what these kids are doing now with NIL out there. If I was a betting man which I am . I would bet the some individuals on this site who don't like the things going on with NIL would've been tempted to do the same thing as the players now but will not admit they would.

I have been disappointed with his offensive production this year but I sure didn't have him hitting a game winning 35 footer at the buzzer on my bingo card lol. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving player though
