Recruiting Football Talk VIII

ZZ and Mashack were/are really great players for the Vols the last few years. ZZ developed into one of the best point guards to ever play for the Vols. Mashack built his reputation as one of the best defenders in the country. He's probably near the top as the best defenders to ever play for the big Orange. Having said that, both of these guys are some of the highest character guys that you will find anywhere. I applaud them for what they did off the court as much as they did on the court. They are the true definition of Vol for life.
Will be few and far from here on out with NIL and a no sitting out a year for transfers.

Cade and J.P. could be the last ones for a while..

Rock bouncer races today.

Not quite rock bouncers, but saw these in the parking lot and figured there were some jeep fans in here. That's the super swampers I wanna put on the Dodge at some point.

If Joe Milton were to end up with a better NFL career than Hendon Hooker, do our retroactive NegaVols go back and bash Heupel for benching him and vice-versa for the Pumpers?
I don't see how anyone can look at their college performances and retroactively put Milton in front of Hooker even if Milton ends up in the NFL HOF. Or put any blame or credit on Heup. If Milton shines, he was a late bloomer and credit his nfl cos he's, and to a lesser extent Heup, for developing him.

The speaker in the helmet probably disproportionately benefits Milton more than just about any other QB. He needs help with presnap badly.

Thanks for setting me on the right course. 😒

Man, the Ole Miss loss really forked us for SEC and probably NCAA seeding. Would have been the 3 at SEC and likely a 1 NCAA.

So now we're 4, will probably need to win the SEC to get a 1. Will probably get a rematch with Kentucky, Auburn, and Florida/Alabama.

We'll benefit from Florida losing early.

(InB4 the "rather lose early and rest" crowd. I don't hold the same mindset and not looking for the debate here. Just outlining what would need to happen to secure the 1 seed.)

Does anyone know Duke’s last game against a ranked team? December 4 against Auburn! That’s over 3 months ago. I hope they lose to UNC and then in 1st game of ACC and drop to 2 seed.
The acc is horrific. They're not losing to anyone except maybe clemson.

Who is ranked by the way, and they played Duke a few weeks ago. And Duke lost that one too lol.
