Happy Sunday

March 23, 2025: You must exhibit honesty and integrity in all you say and do. When you profess the saving grace of Christ and do not live up to the Gospel, you are not a credible witness. It is not enough to be a hearer of the word of truth; you must also be a doer, says the Lord. James 1:23-25 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in all he does.

March 23rd 1912, the Dixie was invented.

Dixie Cup is the brand name for a line of disposable paper cups that were first developed in the United States in 1907 by Lawrence Luellen, a lawyer in Boston, Massachusetts, who was concerned about germs being spread by people sharing glasses or dippers at public supplies of drinking water.

Out of all people to be paranoid about germ my guess who of been a doctor no a lawyer, but let’s go on with gulp on history.

Lawrence Luellen, of Boston, Massachusetts, developed a water-vending machine with disposable cups, and with another Bostonian, Hugh Moore, embarked on a public-education campaign about the health benefits of the disposable drinking cup.

By 1912 the Individual Drinking Cup Company’s product was called the Health Kup and the company had developed its first semi-automatic machine to produce them. The breakthrough came when the devices became standard equipment on trains.

Cheers!!!!!!!
