Recruiting Football Talk VIII

1. Ain’t no one got a gage on how the DBs looked based on that game. Let’s be real here.

2. Yes they are probably not elite by any means but they don’t have to be with this Dline and pass rush we will have.
I agree they don’t need to be elite. Just have not seen much improvement at all in the secondary up to this point.

If Florida can't hire a guaranteed good head coach after Mullen's 2018-2020 run, what hope does South Carolina have?

That's what's crazy about the SEC. Once you start to suck, there's a good chance it will last at least a decade because most coaching hires fail. So unless you get lucky right out of the gate, you'll burn through 3-4 coaches wasting 3-4 years on each of them until you find a suitable long-term one. And the worse your program is, the more likely you are to burn through a bunch of duds and the longer it will take to find a decent coach.

Can’t record from the app…pissed me off when I realized that. 😡
Not being able to record is a giant step back from the... 80s!

YoutubeTV (Google) will record everything but deletes all users' access to the recordings after a year. In other words, they effectively erased my 22 Bama game.

ND is a shoe in....that schedule is freakin ridiculous. They need to be punished HARD for any games they squeak by in.
If they make it to the playoffs, I hope they get destroyed in their first game! 😈

Of course, even better if they don’t get to the playoffs with that schedule. 😈

I want one more year of college golf.................Frat partys and sorority girls.

Thornton Melon vibes...........iykyk

This kind of feels like the conferences giving the NCAA a way to stick around. Figure out a way to let the best players that want to go pro get into the league (possible age changes coming from NFL too?) and keep the best college players in college. I do not trust that the powers that be in the NCAA or the conferences or the pro leagues do many things, especially major changes like this, because it's better for the players. They want a "better product" so they can get more eyeballs, and thus bigger contracts. Seems like a way to raise the floor on college talent.

Not that I'm complaining. Having good kids/stories stick around for longer is typically better for the sport (and their tv contracts).

Just kind of seems like the conferences finding a new way to make the ncaa work for them, while allowing the ncaa to masquerade longer, which of course will make more suits more money.
